CONTROLO 2026 Workshops will be held on 11 September 2026, the day after the main conference. WS proposals are strongly encouraged to include in-person participation. Accepted WS’s may organize a call for papers, however, any resulting workshop papers will not be included in the main conference proceedings.

Half-day WS proposals are expected to encourage active engagement among invited speakers, organizers, and attendees. 

WS proposals must follow the template here.

Evaluation Criteria of the Workshop Proposals

The importance, relevance, and novelty of the proposed topics with respect to the conference scope. 

The soundness of the plans to engage participants and foster active participation of the attendees throughout the event. We encourage all invited talks to be held in person followed by panel and/or poster sessions. Proposals should describe how young researchers and students will actively engage beyond attending talks and coffee breaks. 

The inclusiveness and diversity (gender, geography, career stage, experience, etc.) of the workshop organizers, invited speakers, and target audience.

Note: For accepted workshops, organizers will be required to provide the workshop title, abstract, and a dedicated website.
