How to get to Coimbra
Coimbra can be reached easily from Porto and Lisbon International Airports, both are connected to various cities in Europe and around the world. Porto Airport (OPO), located around 100 kilometres north of Coimbra, is the closest option, but may offer fewer direct flights to some international destinations. Lisbon Airport (LIS), located approximately 200 kilometres to the south, has a wide network of global connections. For both airports, the quickest and most economical way to get to Coimbra is to use local transport to the train station and then take a train towards the city. This route guarantees a comfortable and efficient journey to the conference venue.
