Paper Revision
The authors of all accepted papers at CONTROLO 2026 must upload the final, “camera-ready” versions. Even if no changes are recommended, a final version of the paper MUST BE UPLOADED. The final version should be revised based on the reviewers’ comments, all format issues should be fixed, and the final PDF must be generated via IEEE PDF eXpress.
Note: The use of content generated by artificial intelligence (AI) in an article shall be disclosed in the acknowledgments section of any article submitted to CONTROLO 2026 and published in the conference proceedings. Please check the IEEE submission policies here.
IEEE PDF eXpress Checking
All accepted papers must pass PDF eXpress checking. The procedure is as follows:
- Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress site at https://ieee-pdf-express.org.
- First-time users should select the link: “Create account”.
- Enter the following: (1) Conference ID: 67943X; (2) Email Address; (3) Password.
- Continue to enter information as prompted.
An online confirmation will be displayed, and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup. Previous users of PDF eXpress need to follow the above steps, but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.
IEEE requires that the PDF files submitted for the accepted papers be 100% IEEE Xplore compliant. Please make sure that you follow their instructions on how to produce IEEE Xplore-compliant PDF files.
Please upload the final paper to the submission system under the same paper ID by July 17, 2026.
Copyright
Authors of accepted papers are required to complete the IEEE electronic copyright form (eCF) via EasyChair. No paper can be published in the proceedings without submission of the copyright.
Registration
Register for the conference at https://controlo2026.apca.pt/registration/.
Remember that each accepted paper(s), from Regular, Special Sessions, Work-in-Progress tracks, requires at least one registration by one of the authors at a non-Student rate to be included in the conference program and in the conference proceedings.
IMPORTANT: Papers that do not have an associated registered author WILL NOT be included in the proceedings.
